Incorporated in Delaware in 1968, Tesoro Corporation is a FORTUNE 200 company and one of the largest independent refining and marketing companies in the Western United States.

Headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, Tesoro operates six refineries, wholesale and commercial marketing activities and a network of retail fuel stations. Tesoro’s six refineries are located in Martinez, California; Anacortes, Washington; Kapolei, Hawaii; Kenai, Alaska; Mandan, North Dakota; and Salt Lake City, Utah. Combined, these facilities have a rated crude oil capacity of nearly 560,000 barrels per day.

Tesoro’s retail marketing system includes over 500 branded retail stations. Over 200 of its retail locations are company-owned and -operated under the Tesoro® and Mirastar^® brands. Many of the Tesoro® locations feature 2Go^® convenience stores. In addition, Tesoro’s Mirastar^® brand serves motorists at Wal-Mart refueling locations in the Western states.

Commercial sales are a vital part of Tesoro’s commercial marketing business, and consist of two major segments: aviation fuels and heavy fuels. Tesoro offers commercial sales of jet fuel and marine fuels to the marine and aviation industries that serve trans-Pacific and trans-polar transportation routes, linking Asia, North America and Europe. Tesoro is also a major producer of distillates in the Western United States, and also markets wholesale motor fuels to unbranded dealers.

Tesoro’s supply and distribution operations include bulk terminals that serve commercial customers in the Pacific market. They are located in Anchorage, Alaska; Stockton, California; Port Angeles, Washington; Vancouver, Washington; Boise, Idaho, Burley, Idaho; Salt Lake City, Utah; as well as six locations in Hawaii.
