Gallons for Grades™

At Tesoro, our dedication to our local communities includes a strong commitment to education.

That’s why Tesoro launched Gallons For Grades™, our highly successful community rewards program that encourages academic excellence among students aged 13 to 23 who reside in Tesoro’s operational footprint, and are enrolled at a qualified academic institution.
Students may be able to earn a free Tesoro reward card just by getting good grades. The higher the grades, the higher the reward card value. 

How does it work?

Beginning on April 1, 2011 through August 31, 2011, eligible students may submit their best grade report from the 2010/2011 academic year to Tesoro. Grade reports can be uploaded directly to the Gallons For Grades Website, or can be submitted via the mail with the appropriate submission form which can be downloaded from the Gallons For Grades Website. If the student is under 18 years of age, but older than 13 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must submit on the student’s behalf. For official Terms and Conditions, click here.

Students who earn an A average on their Grade Report will receive a $10 Tesoro reward card. Students who earn a B average on their Grade Reports will receive a $5 Tesoro reward card. Reward cards can be redeemed for motor fuel, food or merchandise at any participating Tesoro location.
