Bruce A. Smith
Bruce Smith is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Tesoro Corporation. Smith joined Tesoro as Chief Financial Officer in 1992. In 1995 he was named President and Chief Executive Officer and elected to the Company’s Board of Directors. (more)

He was named Tesoro’s Chairman in 1996. Smith provides overall leadership in developing and implementing the strategic direction of the company. .
Previously, Smith was Vice President and Treasurer of Valero Energy Corporation and Vice President and Manager of the International Energy Division for Continental Illinois National Bank and Trust Company of Chicago. He also served in the U.S. Army and was a financial analyst at Ford Motor Company. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from Westminster College and his master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Kansas. (close)

William J. Finnerty
William J. Finnerty is Executive Vice President – Strategy and Asset Management of Tesoro Corporation. He provides leadership and oversight for the company’s Strategy & Development, Mergers & Acquisitions, Planning & Analytics, and External Affairs.

Executive Vice President – Strategy and Corporate Development
Prior to assuming his current position, Finnerty served as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He joined the company in 2003 as Vice President, Crude Oil and Logistics. Previously, Finnerty served as Vice President, Trading North America Crude for ChevronTexaco from 2001 to 2003. He also held positions as Senior Vice President at Texaco Trading and Transportation Company and Senior Vice President, Trading and Operations, for Equiva Trading Company.
A member of the Board of Trustees of the National Petroleum Refining Association (NPRA), Finnerty was elected Vice President of the Executive Committee for the NPRA in March 2005. He earned his bachelor’s degree from the State University Maritime College in New York.(close)
Everett Lewis
Everett Lewis is Tesoro’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Tesoro Corporation. Lewis provides both strategic and operational leadership to the entire company. He is directly responsible for Tesoro’s Refining, Marketing, Supply and Optimization, Business Development & Logistics, and Environmental, Health & Safety functions. (more)
Prior to being named to his current position, Lewis served as Executive Vice President – Strategy and Asset Management. He served as Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategic Planning during 2004 and Senior Vice President, Planning and Optimization from 2003 to 2004. He also served as Senior Vice President, Planning and Risk Management from 2001 to 2003 and served as Senior Vice President of Strategic Projects from 1999 to 2001. Lewis started with Chevron USA in 1970 in a range of refinery operations positions, served as Vice President Refining, Vice President Refining Business Development, and Vice President Supply and Trading for BHP, then was responsible for all refining development for Trans-world Oil including grassroots refinery projects in India, South East Asia, the Middle East and China before joining Tesoro.
Lewis graduated with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Iowa State University and received his master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Hawaii.(close)
Gregory A. Wright
Greg Wright is Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Tesoro Corporation. Prior to this role, Wright held the position of Chief Financial Officer since 2000. (more)
Before joining Tesoro in 1995, Wright worked for Valero Energy Corporation for 14 years in various positions, including Vice President of Business Development, Vice President of Planning and Vice President of Investor Relations. Prior to joining Valero, he worked for Columbia Gas Systems, Inc. in various positions in accounting, budgeting and corporate planning. Wright received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ohio State University and his master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from the University of Delaware. Prior to being named to his current role, he held the positions of Senior Vice President, Strategy; and Senior Vice President, Supply and Optimization. Flagg joined Tesoro in January 2005 as Senior Vice President of Planning and Optimization.
Prior to that, he served as General Manager of Supply Optimization for Shell Oil Products US. At Shell, Flagg was responsible for the acquisition of 1.5 million barrels per day of raw materials for refining operations; the coordination of all refinery production economics and the value linkage with product supply activities; and the supervision of the Refinery Planning Managers at Shell’s affiliated U.S. refineries. Prior to joining Shell, he served as General Manager of Equilon Enterprises, LLC’s Bay/Valley Refining Complex, and held several management positions with Texaco Inc.

Susan A. Lerette
Susan Lerette is Senior Vice President, Administration for Tesoro Corporation. In her role, she provides leadership for the company’s human resources, facilities management, procurement and aviation functions. (more)
Previously, she was Vice President, Human Resources. Prior to that, she was Vice President, Communications and Investor Relations from 2001 to 2004. Lerette held the position of Director, Investor Relations from 1999 to 2001. Lerette joined Tesoro in 1981, holding positions of increasing responsibility in accounting, including budgeting and corporate financial reporting posts. Joseph M. Monroe
Joseph M. Monroe is Senior Vice President, Corporate Development for Tesoro Corporation. In this position, he is responsible for working with other functions across the organization as well as external entities to identify and pursue growth opportunities for the company. (more)
Prior to assuming his current position, Monroe served as Senior Vice President, Business Development & Logistics. He also has held positions as Senior Vice President, Business Integration & Analysis, Senior Vice President, Organizational Effectiveness and Senior Vice President, Strategic Planning and Business Development. From May 2002 to February 2004, Monroe served as Senior Vice President, Supply and Distribution for Tesoro.
Prior to joining Tesoro, Monroe spent more than 20 years with Unocal Corporation and was Vice President, Pipelines and Terminals of Unocal Corporation and President of Unocal Pipeline Company from January 1999 through May 2002.
Monroe earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in chemical engineering from North Carolina State University and the University of California, Berkeley, respectively. He also has an MBA from the University of Southern California. (close)
Charles S. Parrish
Chuck Parrish is Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Tesoro Corporation. Prior to his current role, he served as Vice President, Assistant General Counsel and Secretary. (more)
Parrish leads Tesoro’s Legal Department and Contract Administration function, as well as the Business Ethics and Compliance office.
Parrish joined Tesoro in 1994 and has since served in numerous roles in the legal department. He works closely with the company’s finance and financial reporting teams on all matters related to the company’s capital structure and securities act reporting. In addition, Parrish provides counsel to the company’s management and Board of Directors on Corporate governance issues. Before joining Tesoro, he worked in private practice with law firms in Houston and San Antonio, primarily representing commercial lenders with loan transactions, workouts and real estate matters.
Parrish received his bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Virginia and his juris doctor from the University of Houston Law School. He is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the American Bar Association. (close)
Dan Porter
Dan Porter is Senior Vice President, Refining for Tesoro Corporation. Prior to this position, Porter was Senior Vice President, Supply and Optimization and Senior Vice President, Marketing. (more)
From 2002 to 2005, Porter served as President of the Northwest Region of Tesoro Refining and Marketing Company, and manager of the Anacortes refinery. He joined Tesoro in September 2001 as Regional President of Tesoro’s Northern Great Plains Region and Refinery Manager for the company’s Mandan, North Dakota refinery. Prior to joining Tesoro, Porter served in a variety of key management positions with BP/Amoco and Standard Oil of Ohio.
Porter has over 29 years experience within the refining, marketing and supply and distribution businesses. He earned his bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Akron. (close)
Otto C. Schwethelm
Otto Schwethelm is Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer for Tesoro Corporation. Previously, Schwethelm held the position of Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and has also held the role of Vice President, Finance and Treasurer. G. Scott Spendlove
Scott Spendlove is Senior Vice President, Risk Management for Tesoro Corporation. In his current position, he is responsible for enterprise risk, trading controls, business insurance, internal audit, credit and security.
Previously, he held positions as Vice President, Asset Enhancement and Planning, and Vice President, Strategy and Long-Term Planning. Prior to those positions, he served as Vice President and Controller and Vice President, Finance and Treasurer. (more)

Lynn Westfall
Lynn Westfall is Senior Vice President, External Affairs and Chief Economist for Tesoro. Prior to his current role, he served as Vice President and Chief Economist and Vice President of Development and Business Analysis. (more)
Westfall is responsible for consulting with executive leadership on macro-economic trends to provide evaluation and forecasting of risks, challenges and changes facing the industry. He assists with strategic planning that allows the company to develop initiatives to capitalize on future opportunities and mitigate emerging risks.
In addition, Westfall assists in developing strategy concerning federal government relations and is responsible for communicating the company's positions on the future refining environment to the investing and news communities.

Arlen Glenewinkel Jr.,
Arlen Glenewinkel Jr. is Vice President and Controller for Tesoro Corporation. Prior to his current role, he was Vice President, Enterprise Risk. Glenewinkel joined Tesoro in 1980 as an associate accountant and has since filled many roles in the controller and CFO organizations. (more)
