1. How long does it take to receive Tesoro Fleet cards once my account is established?
The Tesoro Fleet cards will be mailed first class within 7 to 10 business days from the time of application approval. Tesoro offers an overnight shipping service of Tesoro Fleet cards for a $25 fee.
2. How do I add Tesoro Fleet cards or replace lost/stolen fleet cards?
Tesoro Fleet cards can be replaced, cancelled or ordered 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Call 1-877-837-6762 or go to the Tesoro Fleet Online Web page to perform simple card replacement and account maintenance.
3. How do I sign up for Tesoro Fleet Online Access?
Once you have your new Tesoro Fleet Account number, log on to the Tesoro Fleet Online Web page to sign up.
4. What does the Tesoro Fleet Card Online Account Access offer?
You have online access to your fleet’s transactions as soon as they post to your account helping you to identify exceptions so you can enforce your purchasing policies. You can also perform general account maintenance such as change driver ID number, add/delete drivers and cards immediately, as well as view and pay your invoice.
5. Where are Tesoro Fleet cards accepted?
All Tesoro branded or Mirastar locations will accept the Tesoro fleet card. There are approximately 475 stations in 18 Western, Mid-Continent and Northern Great Plains States including Alaska and Hawaii.
6. Do you offer In-Station Tesoro Fleet cards?
Yes. There is a special labeled Tesoro Fleet card that is sent directly to the Tesoro branded station. You will need to provide Tesoro with the name of the station where the fleet card will be located.
7. What kind of security and control will the Tesoro Fleet card give me?
Using the Tesoro Fleet card requires drivers to enter an authorized Driver ID, as well as the vehicle’s odometer reading, to make a purchase. Authorization Controls can help you prevent unauthorized purchases by setting rules for purchase type and amounts, frequency and time of day. If a transaction exceeds any of the authorization controls, our system is designed to decline the transaction, subject to the limitations at the point of sale at each location. You can set up separate authorization limits for fuel and service transactions. Purchase Alerts allow you to set up to eight (8) exception limits. When an approved purchase exceeds one of exception limits, you will receive an email notification when subscribed to our Tesoro Fleet Online.
BILLING AND PAYMENTS
1. What are the payment options?
Tesoro currently accepts:
• One-time Automated Clearing House (ACH) transfer payments.
• Electronic Fleet Payment System (EFPS) through the Automated Clearing House transfer payment: The set up is done one time with no fee. You have the option to authorize payment on one of the following:
o Daily Payment
o Weekly
o Tri-Monthly Payment
o Monthly Payment
• Company Check
• Payment online through Tesoro Fleet Online
2. Can I pay by any type of Credit Card?
No, you cannot pay with any type of Credit Card for your fleet invoice.
3. Will you notify me in advance of the amount to be debited from my account if I chose to pay by EFPS?
Yes. You can elect to receive a Prior Notification fax from us on the morning of the scheduled bank draft, informing you in advance of the amount to be drafted from your demand deposit bank account. The electronic draft transfer will take place later that day, with the exact time of the draft determined by your bank.
4. What are the payment terms?
Terms are net 30 days from the date of invoice and are due and payable monthly. Payments may not be deferred or paid installments. The invoice will be available to view online once the month’s transactions have been processed through the Tesoro Fleet Online.
5. Can I receive invoices/reports more than once a month?
Yes. Tesoro has multiple reporting cycles available and reports can be setup to populate automatically on Tesoro Fleet Online.
6. Do you offer Tesoro Free Fillin’ rewards with fleet card purchases?
No, the Free Fillin’ program is not available to Tesoro Fleet card users.
